Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Roomly ("we", "us") collects when you use the Roomly app for iOS and Android, how we use it, and the choices you have. Roomly is operated by Bridge Softwares OÜ, which is the controller of your personal data.
1. Information we collect
- Photos you provide: the room photos you take or choose, inspiration photos you add, and the areas you brush to mark what should change.
- Designs we create for you: the redesigned images, the style and options you picked, and the list of changes that produced each design.
- Account information: a sign-in identifier, and your name and email address if you sign in with Apple, Google or an email link. You can also use Roomly without signing in, in which case we create an anonymous account for your device.
- Purchases and credits: your subscription status and credit balance. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
- Device and usage information: device model, operating system, app version, a device identifier, app interactions, crash reports and performance data.
- Notification token: if you allow notifications, a token that lets us send them to your device.
2. How we use your information
- To create your designs: your photo is analysed to understand the room and then redesigned in the style you chose.
- To check each design against your original photo, so walls, windows and doors stay where they are.
- To check uploaded photos for unsafe content and to detect whether a photo contains people. We do not identify who they are.
- To save your designs to your personal Creations gallery.
- To manage your subscription, credits and refunds of credits for designs that fail.
- To keep the app secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To understand how the app is used and improve it.
- To send you notifications you have allowed.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not show advertising in Roomly, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.
3. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run Roomly, and only for that purpose:
- Google Cloud and Firebase: hosting, storage, sign-in, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring and app integrity checks. Google's Vertex AI analyses room photos, and Google Cloud Vision checks photos for unsafe content.
- Kie.ai: generates the redesigned images. It receives your photo through a private link that expires after 15 minutes.
- RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and purchases.
- Amplitude: product analytics.
- Apple and Google: sign-in and payments, under their own privacy policies.
4. Legal requirements
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and our service.
5. How long we keep your data
Your photos and designs stay in your Creations gallery until you delete them or your account is deleted. Temporary processing records, such as render job status, are deleted automatically after a short period. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.
To delete your account and all of its photos and designs, email us from the address linked to your account, or include your account details in your request. We complete deletion within 30 days.
6. Security
Your photos and designs are stored in a private area that only your account can read. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Estonia this is the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process your information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
Roomly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
